Continentals Clip Rails in Tight Contest
|
Chesapeake Continentals starter Juan Valdéz was in fine form against the Richland Rails at Rails Ballpark, leading his team to a 5-2 win. The winning streak has now reached 4 games for the Continentals.
Arturo Scantlebury made it 5-2 in favor of Chesapeake when he delivered a 3-run home run. It came with two out in the top of the ninth. The Continentals went on to win.
"I just tried to attack the bottom of the zone," Valdéz said.
