Chesapeake right-hander Iwane Chihara pitched his team to victory over the Minnesota Loons at Chesapeake Grounds. The final score was 7-1. At 37-37, Chesapeake is in 5th place in the Premier AA.

The Continentals got a big at-bat from shortstop Holden Nolan. For the game, Nolan went 1-4 with a double. He drove in 2 runs. In the bottom of the fourth, with runners on 2nd and 3rd, he stroked a 2-run double. His 13th double of the season gave Chesapeake a 2-1 lead.
