Tacoma catcher Gustavo González had 5 ribbies while helping his team defeat the Mercer Island Screaming Eagles, 8-2. John Hottinger picked up the win with 6.2 innings of work. He allowed 2 earned runs on 8 hits, while walking 1 and striking out 4. On the season, he is now 5-3.

González contributed when he hit a grand slam in the top of the sixth. Coming with one out and the bases loaded, the home run proved to be critical to helping Tacoma get the win.
