Rails Use Late-Game Magic to Beat Highlanders
|
León Preciado made an impact in the 6-4 Richland win over Asheville. Preciado went 4-4 with a double and 3 singles. Richland reliever Matt Crowley picked up the win, upping his record to 3-3. Ching-hsia Hsing was saddled with the loss. The save was credited to Matko Perisc, his 10th.
Orlando Casillas, who is tied for 10th in the PAA in doubles with 12, helped out the Richland cause in the bottom of the eighth inning with a run-scoring single. For the game, the second baseman went 2 for 3 with 2 singles and a walk, while scoring 2 runs.
"We'll relax tonight and enjoy this win," said Casillas.
Richland is now 31-42.
