Fur Traders Clip Rails in Tight Contest
Starting pitcher Manuel Paílla pitched well enough to help the Tacoma Fur Traders beat the Richland Rails by the score of 6-4. Daniel Ryan earned the save for Tacoma, his 17th of the year. The Fur Traders now have a mark of 33-37.

Stan Wheeler had a big run-scoring triple for the Fur Traders in the bottom of the sixth inning. With Tacoma trailing 4-2 and a runner on 1st, he got a curveball from Claudio Palma and stroked the triple to right-center. It was his 2nd triple of the season, and more importantly, it put the Fur Traders ahead, 4-3.

"We'll enjoy this win," said Paílla. "But there's more we hope to accomplish."
