Divided Get One-Run Win at Northern Virginia
The D.C. Divided defeated the Northern Virginia Rainbow Mermaids, 5-4, in United States Premier League action at Atlantica, with D.C. catcher Mario Castillo named player of the game. Manuel Delgadillo picked up the win with 9 innings of work. He allowed 4 earned runs on 8 hits, while walking 1 and striking out 5. On the season, he is now 5-2. The Divided bumped their record to 50-48 with this latest triumph.

Nick Boyd, who is the 3rd-best prospect in the Divided organization, aided the D.C. cause with a run-scoring sacrifice fly in the top of the second. For the game, the second baseman drew 1 walk in 4 trips to the plate.
