Minnesota beat Richland on the strength of starter Luis Domínguez's fine effort. The left-hander led his team to a 6-1 win. Minnesota, at 36-33, occupies third place in the Premier AA.
Leonardo Medina, who is tied for 3rd in the PAA with a .307 batting average, helped out the Minnesota cause in the bottom of the first inning with a 2-run double. For the game, the second baseman went 2 for 4 with a double. He drove in 3 runs.
"It was a solid team effort," said Domínguez after the game.
