Asheville starter Manuel Sánchez had a strong outing against the Mercer Island Screaming Eagles at Mercer Island Grounds. The right-hander was a big part of his team's 4-3 win. In 5.2 innings, Sánchez surrendered 7 hits, while striking out 5 and walking 1. He allowed 1 run. Jesús Martínez closed the door for Asheville, picking up his 2nd save of the year.
