Lionhearts Get Close Win Over Rails
Lannister United rode a decent outing from starter Earl Farley to victory over the Richland Rails at Lionheart Field. The final score was 4-3. Lannister United reliever Fernando Elías picked up the win, upping his record to 3-1. Claudio Palma shouldered the loss. Lannister United now sits at 19-21, while Richland falls to 18-22.

Rob Berry broke a 3-3 tie in the bottom of the eighth with a run-scoring sacrifice fly. It put the Lionhearts in front, 4-3. For the game, Berry was 1-2 with a double. He drove in 2 runs.

"It takes a lot of things to win a ballgame," said Lannister United manager Ernesto Reyes. "It's usually not just one thing."
