Salazar Sensational for Highlanders
Pitcher Claudio Salazar was sensational for the Asheville Highlanders in his team's 2-1 triumph over the Richland Rails. Salazar received player of the game honors, while picking up the win. Even with the win, the Highlanders have a dismal 11-23 record.

Salazar was in the zone all game. He frustrated Richland hitters while giving the Highlanders 8 innings of quality work. Salazar threw 104 pitches, allowing 3 hits and getting 6 punchouts.
