Tacoma right fielder Yao-pang Chiang had a 4-RBI performance, which helped his team grab a 7-4 win over the Richland Rails. Tacoma reliever Wendell Clingan was the winner. His record is now 1-0. The losing pitcher was Hartmann Riedman. The loss drops Richland to 3-5.

Chiang had a game-changing home run in the bottom of the eighth. On a 0-1 fastball from Hartmann Riedman, he banged a grand slam home run to right-center, giving the Fur Traders a 7-4 lead. It was the 1st home run of the year for Chiang.

"I just try to bring what I bring to this team," said Chiang.
