Dogfish Head Come Up Short at Salt Lake City
Both teams had their chances, but the Salt Lake City Buzz eventually prevailed at Spirits Stadium.

The Salt Lake City Buzz did just enough to secure a 4-3 victory over the Milton Dogfish Head at Spirits Stadium. Nobody did more than pitcher Ben Hopley, who captured player of the game honors. Hopley picked up the win for Salt Lake City, going 8 innings. He gave up 3 runs on 8 hits. He now sports a record of 8-3. Luis Bejarano earned his 9th save in 10 chances.

Ilkka Haapajarvi, who is tied for 10th in the PAAA in extra base hits with 30, aided the Salt Lake City cause with a run-scoring ground out in the bottom of the third. For the game, the shortstop drew 1 walk in 4 trips to the plate.

"It's a mindset," said Hopley. "Just trying to do your job, trying to be consistent."
