The Milton Dogfish Head faced a tough opponent in Salt Lake City pitcher Scott Mildren, but did just enough to pull out the victory at Spirits Stadium by a final score of 3-2. Mildren went 7 innings and allowed 2 earned runs. Joe Khokar picked up the save, his 1st. Milton is now 43-51. Salt Lake City is 50-44.

This game went down to the wire. In the top of the 11th, Darrell Terwey had a big at-bat. With two out, the Milton center fielder reached on an error by the SS, driving in 1 run, to put his team up, 3-2.

"You can't get too high when things go well, or too low when things go bad. Right now, I'm just happy we got the win," Terwey told the Milton Today.
