Thundercats Trip Rainbow Mermaids in Extras

The Richardson City Thundercats racked up a win at The Thunder Dome, bumping off the Northern Virginia Rainbow Mermaids, 3-2. Armando Gonzáles, who started for Richardson City, pitched effectively for his team. The win was Héctor Alarcon's in relief. His record improves to 3-3. Christian Mustard took the loss for Northern Virginia. The Thundercats have now won 6 straight.
With runners on 1st and 3rd in the bottom of the 14th, IV Seacat delivered the knockout blow when he hit a run-scoring single to win it for Richardson City. In the contest, Seacat went 2 for 5 with 2 singles and 2 walks.
"One win at a time, one game at a time. We try not to get too far ahead of ourselves," Seacat told the Richardson City Gazette.
