Dogfish Head Bang Out 6-3 Win Versus Naperville
|
It was a fun time at Milton Corner Tavern, where the Naperville Battlekings and Milton Dogfish Head tangled.
Behind a solid performance from catcher Tony Walsh, the Milton Dogfish Head defeated the Naperville Battlekings, 6-3. Walsh was 2-3 with a home run and was hit by a pitch. He drove in 3 runs and scored once for the Dogfish Head. Michael Brown closed it out for his 2nd save.
Walsh had a game-changing home run in the bottom of the seventh. On a 2-0 fastball from Plinio Pedrulho, he banged a 3-run home run to right, giving the Dogfish Head a 6-3 lead. It was the 8th home run of the year for Walsh.
"I really like what we did out there today," Walsh said after the game.
Milton has now won 3 in a row.
