Targaryens Stymie Pawnee, Take 3-1 Win
|
Gustavo Tobías never let the ParksNRec get in a groove. The left-hander used his bread and butter, his cutter, to pitch the Targaryens to a 3-1 win. Tobías, the winner, moves to 8-2. He threw 6 innings of 3-hit ball, while fanning 10 and giving up 2 walks. Royse City has an impressive 44-19 record.
Early in the game, center fielder Juan Macíel had a run-scoring triple for Royse City. It was his 2nd triple of the season and put the Targaryens on top, 1-0.
"I really like what we did out there today," Tobías said after the game.
