Great Day for Baeza in Tritons Win
The Jersey City Tritons defeated the Plymouth Rocks, 9-2. Earning player of the game honors was third baseman Edgar Baeza, who went 2-4 with a home run and a walk. He scored 2 runs and drove in 4. The Tritons raised their record to 25-28.

With Jersey City leading 1-0 in the bottom of the second, Baeza hit a cutter from Sy-ing Tah for a grand slam home run. It was his 7th home run of the season and put the Tritons ahead, 5-0.

"Winning the game is always the first objective," Baeza said.
