Rocks Turn Back Royse City, 4-2
|
Plymouth Rocks starter Zalontae Hillary was in fine form against the Royse City Targaryens at Plymouth Quarry, leading his team to a 4-2 win. Roberto Aguirre earned the save for Plymouth, his 8th of the year. The Rocks improved to 11-15.
A crucial at-bat came with runners on 1st and 2nd and one out in the bottom of the fourth inning. That's when shortstop Hubert Dodson drew a walk. The Rocks went on to win.
"Some of the guys in here work pretty hard, some of the guys just kind of fall out of bed and get it done. Whatever works I guess, we won this one," Dodson told the Plymouth Bulletin.
