Dogfish Head Knock Off Battlekings at Milton Corner Tavern
|
The Milton Dogfish Head topped the Naperville Battlekings by the score of 8-4, with the largest share of the credit going to shortstop Munemori Ohara. Ohara was 1-2 with a double and 2 walks. He scored 2 times and drove in 2 for the Dogfish Head. Oliver Huerta got the win, improving to 1-0. He worked 6.1 innings, giving up 2 runs on 6 hits, while striking out 1 and walking 1. Milton, at 9-15, sits in 9th place in the Premier AAA.
Ohara contributed a big hit, a 2-run double, for Milton in the bottom of the fourth. With his team trailing 2-1, Ohara took a fastball from Risto Hannila and stroked the double to center. His 6th double of the season allowed the Dogfish Head to leap in front, 3-2.
