Spirited fans at Marquette Stadium greeted the Marquette Miners for their clash with the Virginia Beach Deuces.

Virginia Beach starter Cisco Ortíz had a strong outing against the Marquette Miners at Marquette Stadium. The right-hander was a big part of his team's 8-5 win. Aurelio Ornelas was credited with the save. He has now successfully converted 7 of 11 save opportunities.
