Patriots Win in Glorious Fashion
|
The Boston Patriots eked out a 4-3 win versus the Panama City Piranhas at Dunkin Donuts Park. Nobody did more than pitcher Lúcio Sánchez, who captured player of the game honors. Boston is now 38-42. Panama City is 51-29.
Karl Schultz was the walk-off hero for Boston. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Patriots right fielder hit a dramatic solo home run to send the teams home.
"There's still time to turn this season around," said Schultz.
