|
Casper right-hander John Castle helped his team edge Glendale by the score of 2-1. Castle kept the opposing lineup in check. Castle, the winner, moves to 3-4. He threw 5.2 innings of 3-hit ball, while fanning 5 and giving up 4 walks. The Ghosts now have a mark of 36-55.
Casper shortstop José Córdova helped the Ghosts go up, 2-1, in the bottom of the fifth inning. With the game tied, Córdova hit a run-scoring single off Glendale pitcher Cris Mendoza.
