Hot N Readys Clip Herons in Tight Contest

The Glendale Herons got a superb performance from pitcher Alejandro García. Still, it wasn't enough to beat Little Caesars. The Hot N Readys won the game, 3-2. In spite of the loss, García was named the player of the game. He threw 7 innings of 4-hit ball. Little Caesars, at 40-43, sits in 8th place in the Menard's AA.
Harith Karim was the walk-off hero for Little Caesars. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Hot N Readys catcher hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.
"We'll put this win in our pocket and go after the next one," said Karim.
