Deleón Helps Grasshoppers Run Win Streak to 3
A 6-RBI performance from third baseman Ernesto Deleón, who was drafted in the three round of the 2027 draft, led the San Bernardino Grasshoppers to a 7-4 win over the Virginia Beach Deuces. The Deuces, at 42-36, have lost 4 in a row.

Deleón had a game-changing home run in the bottom of the sixth. On a 0-1 fastball from Edgar Capello, he banged a grand slam home run to left, giving the Grasshoppers a 6-3 lead. It was the 6th home run of the year for Deleón.

Deleón told the San Bernardino Chronicle: "I don't know which I enjoy more -- being a ballplayer or the perks that come with being a ballplayer."
