Polar Bears Knock Off Herons at The Igloo

Benefiting from an exceptional performance from Kilipaki Malamapono, the Billings Polar Bears defeated the Glendale Herons, 6-4. Malamapono went 2-4 with a home run and was hit by a pitch. He drove in 3 runs and scored once for the Polar Bears. Billings is now 35-42.
Billings grabbed the momentum in the bottom of the fifth, when Malamapono, who is tied for 10th in the 3AA in triples with 4, hit a 2-run home run. His 3rd home run of the season put the Polar Bears out in front, 4-2.
"Winning the game is always the first objective," Malamapono said.
