Qualtrough Rips Chicago for 6 Hits
Mitch Qualtrough put on a hitting clinic today as the Richardson City Thundercats dumped the Chicago Gold Sox 14-7 at The Thunder Dome.

The Richardson City shortstop made Chicago defenders earn their pay, lashing Chicago pitching for 6 hits in 6 at-bats in the game. He told BNN reporters after the game that his strategy was "just hit it where they pitched it."

"Too often I try too hard to pull the ball," Qualtrough said in his postgame press conference. "Today, I just went with the pitch."

Mitch Qualtrough singled in the 1st, hit a two-run single in the 2nd, hit a two-run single in the 4th, singled in the 5th, singled in the 5th and singled in the 7th.
