|
Virginia Beach rode a fine outing from starter Yoshi Minamoto to victory over the Billings Polar Bears at Virginia Beach Grounds. The final score was 5-2. In 6.2 innings, Minamoto surrendered 4 hits, while striking out 4 and walking 4. He allowed 2 runs. Virginia Beach, at 32-31, sits in 5th place in the Menard's AA.

"Some of the guys in here work pretty hard, some of the guys just kind of fall out of bed and get it done. Whatever works I guess, we won this one," Minamoto told the Virginia Beach Observer.
