Polar Bears Lose 3-1 Decision to Nationals
The Ottawa Nationals defeated the Billings Polar Bears, 3-1, in M3L Double A action at Nationals Park, with Ottawa pitcher Dong Zhào named player of the game. The save was Ed Maresh's, his 6th. The Polar Bears fall to 8-12 and continue their lackluster start in 2030.

Alejandro Serrato, the seven overall pick in the 2026 draft, aided the Ottawa cause with a run-scoring ground out in the bottom of the sixth. For the game, the shortstop drove in one run.

"We were the better team today. Maybe that won't be the case next game, but we'll enjoy it for now," Zhào told the Ottawa Chronicle.
