The Ft. Polk South Thunder Hawks stymied the Virginia Beach Deuces, 4-2, at Thunder Hawks Ballpark. Peter Feng, who had a good day at the plate, was named player of the game. He was 3 for 4 with 3 singles and was hit by a pitch. He drove in 2 runs and scored once for Ft. Polk South. Greyfriars Bobby picked up the save for Ft. Polk South, his 1st of the year. The win takes Ft. Polk South to 5-7.
Luke Thornton chipped in for Ft. Polk South, stroking a crucial run-scoring single in the bottom of the fifth inning. For the game, the catcher was 1-3 with a walk.
