Ghosts Fall Short at Glendale
|
The Glendale Herons wiggled past the Casper Ghosts, 9-8, at Heron Field. Glendale first baseman Francisco Guerra earned player of the game honors. With their winning streak at 4, the Herons have raced to a strong start this season.
When he came to bat in the bottom of the 11th, Jin-song Seah had a chance to end it. Casper pitcher John Castle had other ideas. But with one out, Seah hit a sacrifice fly. The Herons had the win.
"We've got a great group of guys," Seah said, "and we're having fun right now."
