Big Day by Irwin Ignites Renaissance Win
The Detroit Renaissance easily defeated the Montana Pandas, 22-4, at Panda Park, with second baseman Steve Irwin a main contributor to the win. He went 4-5 with 2 doubles, 2 singles, and 2 walks, while scoring 6 runs for Detroit. With the win, the Renaissance improved to 37-22.

Eric D'Angle delivered a big hit for the Renaissance. The veteran left fielder belted a 3-run home run in the top of the ninth. The longball put Detroit on top, 22-4. Overall, D'Angle went 3-6 with a home run, 2 singles, and a walk, while scoring 3 times and driving in 5.

"We'll relax tonight and enjoy this win," said Irwin.
