The Kingston Township Legion overcame a good performance by Seattle first baseman Kenny Webster to knock off Seattle, 6-3, at Cloverdale Legion Park. Webster slugged 2 home runs. He drove in 3 runs and scored twice. John Riggleman earned the save for Kingston Township, his 10th of the year. The Aviators, now 24-24, have lost 4 in a row.
Alfredo Cardenas, who is tied for 10th in the 3L in extra base hits with 18, aided the Kingston Township cause with a 3-run home run in the bottom of the fourth. For the game, the center fielder went 1-4 with a home run. He drove in 3 runs and scored once.
Cardenas told a Kingston Township Daily reporter that he was "more than satisfied" with the win.
