Drummers Get Past Gryfindor for 8-7 Win
The Tortolita Drummers overcame a good performance by Gryfindor designated hitter Brent van Schoonhoven to knock off Gryfindor, 8-7, at Cayuse Ballpark. van Schoonhoven went 2-3 with a home run and a walk, while adding 4 RBI and scoring once. Briggs Bourgeois converted his 17th save in 25 tries. Tortolita, now 47-51, holds 8th place in the Silver AAA.

Tortolita took a 8-7 lead on Sean Godron's 80th hit of the season. The 2-run single, which Godron hit in the top of the eighth, left Gryfindor pitcher Suezo Amano shaking his head.

"Win or lose, we pick each other up in this clubhouse," Godron told the Tortolita Today.
