The Port Royal Disaster defeated the Alloway Halberds, 3-2, in USSL Triple A action at Ballpark of Port Royal, with Port Royal shortstop Wrangler Haresnape named player of the game. Port Royal, at 47-47, sits in 6th place in the Silver AAA.
Haresnape had an important at-bat with a runner on 2nd in the bottom of the fifth, when he hit a run-scoring double. The Disaster went on to win.
"Being able to contribute to a win is always a great feeling," Haresnape told the Port Royal Chronicle.
