Alloway rode a good effort from starter Antonio Godfrey to beat the Tortolita Drummers at Ballpark of Alloway. The final score was 2-0. Alloway, at 43-42, occupies 5th place in the Silver AAA.

It could have been a different outcome for Alloway, had it not been for Dave Ash, the 31-year old right fielder . Ash contributed a run-scoring single in the bottom of the fifth inning to put Alloway up, 1-0.

Ash said the team appreciates the support from the fans. "I'm glad we could reward them with a good win," he said after the game.
