Reserves Lose to Halberds in Walk Off
The Alloway Halberds topped the Athletic Club KC Reserves, 6-5, in USSL Triple A action at Ballpark of Alloway. The player of the game was Alloway pitcher and Taree, Australia native Seb Alport. The Halberds' win now puts them at 42-39.

The clutch at-bat came in the bottom of the 12th inning, when Alloway catcher Jerry Yates, facing Jason Hamilton, had a run-scoring walk. It gave the Halberds the 6-5 win.

"We were the better team today. Maybe that won't be the case next game, but we'll enjoy it for now," Yates told the Alloway Observer.
