Benefiting from Andrés Gonzáles's productive game, the Tremont Doubledays downed the Tortolita Drummers, 8-4. Gonzáles was 2 for 2 with a triple and was hit 2 times. He scored 3 times and drove in 2 for the Doubledays. Tremont currently is in third place in the Silver AAA at 43-33.

Max Berman had a big 2-run triple for the Doubledays in the top of the second inning. With Tremont leading 1-0 and runners on 1st and 2nd, he got a fastball from Darius Baxa and stroked the triple to left-center. It was his 2nd triple of the season, and more importantly, it put the Doubledays ahead, 3-0.

"We came out aggressive," said Doubledays manager Lendon Tipton. "We came out swinging the bats."
