Benefiting from an exceptional performance from Javier López, the Gryfindor Braves defeated the Tremont Doubledays, 10-5. López went 1 for 3 with a home run and a walk. He scored 2 times and drove in 4 for the Braves. Gryfindor now owns a record of 41-32.
López contributed a productive at-bat in the bottom of the seventh. With the bases loaded, he hit a grand slam. It was one of the critical at-bats that helped Gryfindor get the win.
"The boys were really swinging the bats today," winning manager António Macías said.
