The Port Royal Disaster downed the Tortolita Drummers, 6-4, at Drummers Ballpark. The Disaster were led by Sancho Tornero, who captured player of the game honors. He went 2-4 with a home run and was hit by a pitch. He scored 2 runs and drove in 2. Port Royal reliever Joe Griffin picked up the win, upping his record to 7-2. Luis Cardona took the loss. Port Royal is now 31-40, while Tortolita is 34-37.

Had António Quintero not delivered a key base hit in the top of the seventh, the outcome might have been different. Instead, with two down and the bases loaded, Quintero hit a 2-run single. That made the score 6-4, in favor of the Disaster.

"We put a lot of pressure on ourselves," Quintero told a Port Royal Chronicle reporter. "Sometimes we need just to relax."
