Port Royal Disaster starter Loren Berdine pitched a strong game against the Scranton Supernovas at Ballpark of Port Royal, leading the Disaster to a 4-1 win. Jackson Haines was credited with the save. He has now successfully converted 13 of 14 save opportunities. Port Royal now has a 3-game win streak.

The Disaster got a big at-bat from third baseman Winston Sparks. For the game, Sparks went 1 for 3 with a double, while adding 2 RBI. In the bottom of the fifth, with runners on 1st and 2nd, he stroked a 2-run double. His 10th double of the season gave Port Royal a 2-0 lead.

"We've got guys willing to do what it takes to win," Sparks told the Port Royal Chronicle.
