Tight Tilt Goes to BC, 4-3
|
The BC had to overcome a good performance from Gryfindor pitcher Bradley Roth to claim a 4-3 win at Cayuse Ballpark. Roth went 8.1 innings and allowed 2 earned runs. Stef Dijkman got credit for the save for Houston. It was his 1st of the year. Even with the win, the BC have a dismal 17-47 record.
Ricardo Pérez was a key contributor to the win for the BC. In the top of the seventh with one out, the light-hitting second baseman stroked a single to left. He went 1 for 5.
Pérez told the Houston Times: "I don't know which I enjoy more -- being a ballplayer or the perks that come with being a ballplayer."
