Tremont got a terrific game from left fielder Sheldon Deshotels. It wasn't enough, though, to prevent the team from falling to Port Royal, 10-8. Deshotels was the player of the game despite being on the losing side. He went 3-3 with a home run, 2 singles, and was hit by a pitch. He scored 2 runs. The Disaster now have a record of 21-31 with the win over Tremont.

Nelson Abbey chipped in for Port Royal, stroking a crucial 2-run single in the top of the fourth inning. For the game, the second baseman was 1 for 5. He drove in 2 runs.

"The boys were really swinging the bats today," winning manager Bobby Robinson said.
