A nice crowd turned out to see the Alloway Halberds and Port Royal Disaster clash at Ballpark of Port Royal.

Alloway pitcher Gilberto Ramírez did his part in helping his team beat the Port Royal Disaster, 7-1. The left-hander kept opposing batters in check throughout the game. Alloway occupies second place in the Silver AAA at 24-18.

The Disaster had trouble solving Ramírez, who surrendered 1 earned run on 6 hits over 9 innings.

"Whenever we hold the other team to one run," said Halberds manager Santiago Vargas, "I like our chances."
