Doubledays Win at Alloway, 5-3
|
The Tremont Doubledays topped the Alloway Halberds, 5-3, in USSL Triple A action at Ballpark of Alloway. The player of the game was Tremont pitcher and Tamiami, Florida native Daniel Lavalley. Tremont is now 15-22.
David Elías, who is rated as the 97th best prospect by BNN, helped out the Tremont cause in the top of the fifth inning with a run-scoring walk. For the game, the catcher drew 1 walk.
"You can't get too high when things go well, or too low when things go bad. Right now, I'm just happy we got the win," Elías told the Tremont Daily News.
