Doubledays Continue Skid Thanks to Abbey, Disaster
Behind a solid performance from second baseman Nelson Abbey, the Port Royal Disaster defeated the Tremont Doubledays, 10-6. Abbey went 3-4 with a home run and 2 singles. He scored 2 runs and drove in 4 for the Disaster. Port Royal reliever Esteban García got the win, raising his record to 2-0. Mathieu Neri was tagged with the loss.
