The Tremont Doubledays grabbed a 5-3 win over the Gryfindor Braves at Doubledays Stadium. Tremont third baseman Andrés Gonzáles went 2-3 with a home run and a double, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 2 to earn player of the game honors. Carlos Costello picked up the save, his 1st. Tremont, at 14-17, sits in 6th place in the Silver AAA.

Gonzáles contributed a big hit, a 2-run home run, for Tremont in the bottom of the fourth. With his team trailing 2-1, Gonzáles took a changeup from Juan Contreras and stroked the home run to center. His 6th home run of the season allowed the Doubledays to leap in front, 3-2.

"You can't get too high when things go well, or too low when things go bad. Right now, I'm just happy we got the win," Gonzáles told the Tremont Daily News.
