Thrilling Walk-Off Win for Doubledays

Starting pitcher Josef Strolz pitched well enough to help the Tremont Doubledays beat the Bloomington Longnecks by the score of 5-4. Alonso Martínez picked up the win in relief, improving his record to 1-1. Jesús Medina was tagged with the loss. Tremont is now 10-15.
Francisco García was the walk-off hero for Tremont. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Doubledays right fielder hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.
"We'll relax tonight and get back after it tomorrow," García said after the game.
