Late Rally by Lake Monsters Secures Win
Vermont shortstop Sven Spee made his presence felt in the 5-3 Lake Monsters triumph over the Port Royal Disaster. Spee was 2 for 3 with a double and a walk. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. Vermont, at 15-10, sits in third place in the Silver AAA.

Gilberto Jiménez made it 4-3 in favor of Vermont when he delivered a solo home run. It came with one out in the top of the eighth. The Lake Monsters went on to win.

"We'll grab a cold one tonight and go after another win tomorrow," Spee said.
