Port Royal starter Jim Sison pitched effectively against the Scranton Supernovas at Nuclear Stadium. The right-hander led his team to a 5-2 win. Jackson Haines got credit for the save for Port Royal. It was his 4th of the year. Even with the win, the Disaster have a dismal 7-16 record.

Ricky Payton, who is tied for 9th in the SAAA with a .341 batting average, helped out the Port Royal cause in the top of the third inning with a 2-run double. For the game, the right fielder was 1-3 with a double and 2 walks. He drove in 3 runs and scored once.

"I thought we played a nice game," Sison told the Port Royal Chronicle. "Good pitching, timely hitting, it was all there."
