Longnecks Win Again, Extend Streak to 17
A 4-RBI performance from Daniel Faraday, who is tied for 7th in the SAAA in RBI with 14, helped the Bloomington Longnecks beat the Tortolita Drummers, 7-2. Bloomington reliever Atila Freska picked up the win, upping his record to 4-0. Dave Seals was saddled with the loss. It was the 17th win in 18 games this year for the defending champion Longnecks, who are picking up where they left off.

Faraday came through with some timely hitting for Bloomington. With the score 0-0 in the bottom of the third and no one down, Faraday hit a full count fastball for a grand slam home run. His 2nd home run of the season made it 4-0, Bloomington.

"Our guys are never satisfied," said Bloomington manager Jorge Silva.
